Cancer Related Urinary Peptides / Antigens

2019 John A. Catanzaro

The urinary peptide pool in cancer patients is rich in antigens that can be represented as neoantigens presented back to the immune system after processing working along with Langerhans cells (APC) for T cell presentation.

The HLA typing can identify the unique immunogenic peptides for the most potent immunogenic related to the expressed cancer.

Isolation of urinary peptides, tumor tissue peptides and serum related peptides was the standard on every patient I treated. The unique peptide typing using HLA genetics was consistent in identifying cancer related antigens for use in immune defense.
